This piece is both an exploration of materiality and a celebration of accomplishment. Contrary to its assumed purpose, the veneer - now transformed - flows freely and flares. The figure stands poised elegantly while humbly celebrating her success.

I dedicate this series to my inspiration, my wife, Nadine and her achievements.

Materials: Poplar wood, Walnut veneers, Brass & Ceramic Base
