The Musical Cask program is an initiative whereby we share our latest Cask chair with noted chefs and mixologists that enjoy a good barrel aged spirit and find pleasure in giving to a good cause. Our first chair is The BKLYN CASK chair and is paired with a special edition bourbon by Brooklyn based Van Brunt Distillery.

          Atelier Ruzzier will lend the first chair built from each collection to the participant to enjoy for a month. When we deliver the chair we will include a bottle of the Van Brunt bourbon on the house. During this time we hope that a photo or two of the participant in the chair is shared with friends and social network. We hope that the chef or mixologist might be inspired to create a dish or drink using Van Brunt.

            At the end of the month we will pick up the chair and bring it to the next participant (we would certainly consider a recommended friend or colleague). Once the chair has visited twelve people we will compile the photos, recipes and thoughts and create a single bound memoir. This memoir along with the chair will then be auctioned at a yet to be determined event whereby all proceeds will go towards our charitable partner Edible Schoolyard NYC. Edible Schoolyard NYC provides hands-on cooking and gardening programs in NYC public schools; supporting educators to implement food education in their classrooms; and advocating for long-term, sustainable changes for a better future for New York City. In addition, Atelier Ruzzier makes a generous donation for each of the 114 limited edition BKLYN CASK chairs sold.
